InfoWatch Group, a Russian vendor of end-to-end enterprise cybersecurity solutions, will take part in the sixth annual World Government Summit to be held in Dubai (UAE) on February 10-14, 2018. As part of the summit’s business agenda, Natalya Kaspersky, President of InfoWatch Group, will join the Global Governance of Artificial Intelligence round table moderated by His Excellency Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence.
At the round table, Natalya Kaspersky will share information security aspects to keep in mind when implementing new technologies in public administration systems, and will also speak about the importance of both cybersecurity education and fostering of highly-qualified data protection specialists. Moreover, at the summit, Natalya Kaspersky is planning to discuss cooperation opportunities with leading UAE universities regarding cybersecurity education initiatives.
Currently, the UAE is shaping a global artificial intelligence (AI) control strategy, and therefore the summit events are aimed at seeking for and discussing AI best practices to be then implemented in e-government systems, as well as improving the efficiency and security of AI technologies for the government, and creating an innovative and high-performance environment.
It should be noted that InfoWatch Gulf, the company’s representative office in UAE, has been operating since 2017, with InfoWatch Traffic Monitor and its module InfoWatch Vision being a flagship product for the Middle East market. Moreover, InfoWatch Group unveiled its hardware and software suite TaigaPhone at GITEX Technology Week 2017 in Dubai.
