InfoWatch, a corporate data protection leader in Russia, has started cooperation with the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA, the largest Philippine university located in Manila. Subject to the contract signed by the parties, InfoWatch specialists will lecture on Technologies in DLP Systems and conduct workshops at the university's College of Engineering.
Founded in 1975, the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (UPHSL) is now the largest technology university in Manila and the Republic of the Philippines and boasts to be the center of science, sports, and culture, with over 12,000 students and 1,500 lecturers.
In late February 2016, InfoWatch was a keynote speaker at the International Conference on Innovations in Intelligent Systems and Computing Technologies (ICIISCT2016), which was held in Manila, a capital of the Philippines. The company's specialists spoke about linguistic technologies in DLP systems and performed their live demonstration, using InfoWatch Traffic Monitor and real-life scenarios, thus managing to deliver the best presentation, according to the audience.
Upon the conference, Manila-based UPHSL and InfoWatch signed a contract for lectures and workshops. The syllabus will cover the analysis technologies in DLP systems, including linguistic technologies offered by InfoWatch, and the demonstration of InfoWatch Traffic Monitor, a solution known for its rich functionality and unique data analysis tools.
“The course is designed to raise awareness of methods and technologies used in DLP systems, define the key DLP trends, and give students an insight into solutions made by InfoWatch, a corporate data protection leader in Russia," said Ekaterina Pshekhotskaya, Technology Director at InfoWatch. "Such conferences help the scientific community address challenges, raise new questions, and stay informed of innovations introduced by foreign peers. Since the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA is a member of the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL), InfoWatch may now grasp the opportunity to lecture and conduct workshops in other universities within the region, thus making a crucial strategic step towards the expansion of its international scientific relations, experience exchange and business development in Southeast Asia.
The training course will begin at the start of the academic year and feature lectures by Ekaterina Pshekhotskaya, Technology Director at InfoWatch, who has been authorized as a professor at the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA.
