InfoWatch, one of the leading global DLP vendors, contracted a new partner integrator in South Africa Aetos-IT. According to the agreement Aetos-IT will sell full InfoWatch line of products for international markets in South Africa. Besides, the company will undertake full-cycle integration of InfoWatch DLP solutions in the region.
InfoWatch product line for international markets includes InfoWatch Traffic Monitor Enterprise (DLP for enterprises), InfoWatch Traffic Monitor Standard Appliance for SMB (DLP for SMB), InfoWatch EndPoint Security (reliable protection of workstations within corporate network), and InfoWatch Appercut (source code analysis of business applications). Integration of DLP solutions is a long-term and complex task; it includes a big part of client consulting regarding categorization of all information within a company. Aetos-IT specialists have high qualifications essential to integrate InfoWatch DLP solutions in local enterprises.
Natalya Kaspersky, InfoWatch CEO comments:.
«DLP is a process and the first essential stage is understanding what information is confidential in the company and thus must be controlled and protected. If we don’t know what we are looking for we simply can’t find it. That is why InfoWatch offers not a DLP software as is, but first of all a service of information analysis and categorization, which we call Pre-DLP. And only then follows technical solution for protection against leakages and other internal security threats. For not all partners can undertake this Pre-DLP stage, therefore we very much appreciate Aetos IT and other partners who take integration up».
While focusing on the enterprise and SMB segments, Aetos IT will target the South African Public and Private sector with the main focus area on the Medical Industry of South Africa.
The partnership also includes development of leads and coordinated marketing activities.
Andrew J van Vuuren, Aetos IT CEO comments:.
«Technology and information has become a critical and a powerful tool which needs to be protected at all times. This has encouraged the SA Government to draft and implement legislation to protect the rights of the SA citizen and entities relating to their information and includes the quality of coding. The afore-mentioned has motivated Aetos to seek an innovative and dynamic partner, namely InfoWatch, to take up this challenge in the South African Public and Private sector.».
