InfoWatch, a global market leader in DLP solutions, is showcasing their latest security solutions at this year’s GITEX technology week. The company will promote their flagship solutions launched earlier this year including InfoWatch EndPoint Security, and InfoWatch Traffic Monitor Enterprise 5.0 version with new user interface and specifically aimed at solving enterprise business tasks. At the show, these solutions will be offered through InfoWatch partners: Scope Middle East and Fakhro Electronics.
According to InfoWatch Analytical Centre, more than 500 cases of data leakage incidents were recorded during the first half of 2014. This figure represents a 32% increase in confidential information leakage in comparison with the same period in 2013. The results highlight that corporates need to be more aware of such threats and implement the required solutions to protect their data and businesses.
In the Middle East, sectors such as enterprise, SMB and end consumers’ smart devices followed closely by data security are the most technologies in-demand. While consumers are looking for basic protection apps, SMBs are opting for endpoint security and essential network security products. Enterprises, on the other hand, have high demand for solutions such as identity management, web monitoring and control, data leakage prevention, mobile security and targeted attack detection solutions.
Natalya Kaspersky, CEO at InfoWatch Group of Companies, commented: "As we witness data leakage incidents increasing globally, InfoWatch’s main message for visitors to this year’s GITEX Technology Week is that securing data is more important now than ever before. With the explosion of targeted attacks, and with employees increasingly using their own devices at work, it is imperative to have the right solutions in place to protect confidential data. Our commitment to preventing data leaks is reinforced by our presence at industry leading events like GITEX, and we look forward to further building strong partnerships in the Middle East in the years to come”.
In addition to their leading technologies, InfoWatch offers an extended technical programme delivered by their experts to provide partners’ technical teams with the necessary knowledge and expertise in data leakage prevention. All the partners also undergo InfoWatch certification to be qualified as InfoWatch’s certified partners. This is a key part of InfoWatch’s strategic approach to offer reliable resources and expertise and establish a trusted partner chain in the Middle East.
