InfoWatch, the leading European provider of internal information security solutions, summarizes the results of its participation in the 24th international exhibition CeBIT 2010.
According to InfoWatch CEO, Natalya Kaspersky, to succeed in the IT-market generally and in the information security market in particular, solution vendors should further embrace the concept of delivering complex, multifunctional products, especially optimized for the needs of industries served.
During this year’s CeBIT InfoWatch was represented by its local employees from the regional office opened in Germany last year. According to Michael Struss, Director of Enterprise Sales in Germany and Austria, InfoWatch: “CeBIT is an established meeting point to speak with your existing customers. During the show we found about 30 new potential customers, which however is below our expectations.”
Natalya Kaspersky, InfoWatch CEO, had a busy schedule within the exhibition framework: as one of the key speakers Natalya participated in the panel discussion Smart Business 2020: ICT for Empowered Business in Dynamic Times. She explained why comprehensive customer-tailored information security solutions cannot be cheap and suggested that both vendors and customers should closely work together, defining the future of information security market. The record of online translation is available here.
After the panel discussion Natalya answered multiple questions from the accredited press and German companies’ managers about the IT-market trends in a closed roundtable by CeBIT Global Conferences.
On the 5th of March Natalya Kaspersky was interviewed by a leading German TV channel – ZDF. Natalya spoke about the evolution of Internet security, virus threats, spam and corporate data leakages.
CeBIT 2010 showed stable interest to corporate information security solutions, especially by original equipment manufacturers.
“Despite the last year financial crisis and difficult economic situation CeBIT organizers managed to attract many visitors and exhibitors. The conference program was compelling – during the panel discussions and roundtables industry leaders exchanged their thoughts about future IT-market trends. CeBIT still stays an established meeting point,” said Natalya Kaspersky, CEO, InfoWatch.
