InfoWatch Group of Companies, a Kaspersky Lab spin-off was nominated in the Next Generation Security Summit Awards program and subsequently won a "Thought Leader" Award during this summit that took place in Barcelona, Spain on December 12th - 14th 2011. The company's outlook on security in the cloud, presented by InfoWatch's Head of Business Development, Alexander Zarovsky, was recognized on being the most authoritative and influential in the scene.
Mr. Zarovsky reminded the summit delegates on today’s main challenges of security in the cloud. Cloud technologies are at their early stage, where information security remains on being a major concern and a barrier for a wider recognition of cloud-based solutions. With the proliferation of cloud based information security, this will eventually form a new DLP (Data Loss Prevention) As-a-Service platform, which InfoWatch is already encompassing within its own DLP Cloud Solution Architecture.
