InfoWatch Group has become one of the fastest growing high-tech Russian companies according to the sixth annual TechUp rating, being among top 5 medium businesses by growth rate and top 10 medium businesses in terms of innovations and export potential.
The rating is organized by Russian Venture Company (RVC) in partnership with PwC, the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia, and the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE), and with the support of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development. The rating recognizes promising Russian technology companies having high growth potential, with best of them being invited by the Ministry to join its priority project ‘National Champions’.
“We are pleased to see that Russia is developing a mechanism to support fast-growing innovative companies in a wide range of pressing business challenges, such as interaction with various government authorities and development institutions, overcoming administrative and other obstacles, promoting their products in foreign markets with the assistance of Russian trade missions,” said Konstantin Levin, Sales Director, InfoWatch Group.
The rating shows that high-tech companies increased their total revenue by 30% YoY, reaching 285 billion rubles. Thus, top 5 companies in each size category accounted for RUB 2 billion to 30 billion (large); RUB 800 million to 2 billion (medium); and up to RUB 800 million (small) in revenue. The rating also distinguished 15 winners by revenue growth rate, innovative products, R&D spending, and export volume.
In addition to InfoWatch Group, other winners among medium businesses were Permсhemical Company, Research Institute of Chemical Diversity (IIKhR), Inertial Technologies of Technocomplex, and Ingeoservice.
