InfoWatch company, developer of the program solutions in confidential information protection, announces the beginning of sales of the InfoWatch CryptoStorage program product made for protection of data stored and used at PC’s and notebooks with the use of encryption. According to the researches made by Ponemon Institute every year more than 600 thousand notebooks are being lost in the airports of the US. In this case the only possible way to protect the confidential information from the leakage is to encrypt it. For protection from the unauthorized access to the confidential data kept on the notebooks and home PC’s the InfoWatch company had developed the program product – InfoWatch CryptoStorage.
InfoWatch CryptoStorage solution is made for protection of the confidential information with the cryptographic methods. The product allows to provide a complex approach to the data protection. Among the functional capabilities of the product – encryption of the logical disks, files and folders with the use of Resilient encryption algorithms, capacity to create the specialized objects of data storage (files-containers), differentiation of the user’s access rights to the protected objects.
While elaboration of InfoWatch CryptoStorage great attention was paid to the protection of data in the emergency conditions. The solution allows to protect from the unauthorized access to the content of the operative memory, kept on the disk while switching to the hibernate mode, crush dump file data kept on the disk in the emergency situations, information in the temporary files and swap files.
