InfoWatch announces beta testing of the new product for cryptographic protection of confidential data intended for home users InfoWatch CryptoStorage Personal. The most active testers will be rewarded with InfoWtatch’s promotional gifts.
InfoWatch CryptoStorage Personal is InfoWatch’s first software solution providing reliable protection of confidential data stored on PC against unauthorized access using cryptographic methods. The new solution has incorporated the basic functional advantages of the InfoWatch’s previous solutions intended to protect confidential data within corporate environment.
InfoWatch CryptoStorage is intended for centralized protection of confidential data using cryptographic methods during data storage and processing. The product is based on the integrative approach to data protection. The product functional capabilities include file and folder encryption using resilient encryption algorithms, an option to create special data storage objects – the container files, logical disks and flash drives, differentiation of access rights to the protected objects.
InfoWatch CryptoStorage Personal protects against unauthorized access to RAM contents copied to hard disk when the system hibernates, crash dump data saved on hard disk when a fatal error occurs, data from temporary files and swap files.

The beta testing start will be announced on August 21 on InfoWatch’s web site. InfoWatch invites all interested IT-specialists to take part in testing of InfoWatch CryptoStorage Personal beta version. The most active participants will be rewarded with company’s promotional gifts and the best product improvement ideas will be implemented in the commercial version.
