InfoWatch Group has announced the opening of its subsidiary InfoWatch Gulf, registered at the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), United Arab Emirates (UAE), and appointed Kristina Tantsyura, Business Development Director for Middle East at InfoWatch Group, as Director of InfoWatch Gulf.
Ms. Tantsyura is joined by Russian implementation engineers and local technical specialists including the Executive Technical Director, sales specialists, and administrative staff at the InfoWatch Gulf team. The company will develop Middle Eastern direct sales, provide technical support for InfoWatch customers, strengthen partner relations, and conduct InfoWatch product trainings for customers and partners.
“InfoWatch enterprise cybersecurity products and solutions are becoming more and more popular worldwide, and, in order to move forward in increasing our export opportunities, we decided to enter the key sales markets at our full capacity,” said Kristina Tantsyura, Director, InfoWatch Gulf. “The Middle Eastern branch will ensure our full-fledged presence in the region and directly communicate with customers and partners, while focusing on government agencies, finance companies, and large integrated holdings.”
InfoWatch Gulf has launched operations at the service of its current customers in the UAE and Bahrain and is implementing InfoWatch pilot projects with new potential clients in the public sector and large businesses in the region. The company has recently upgraded InfoWatch Traffic Monitor DLP solution to v. 6.5 for some of its customers, including Central Bank of Bahrain, Kuwait Finance House, and First Energy Bank of Bahrain.
In March 2017, InfoWatch Group raised funds from the Russian Direct Investment Fund to increase its export potential, localize enterprise cybersecurity products and solutions abroad, and open new offices in key sales markets.
Natalya Kaspersky, President of InfoWatch Group, shared the vision of opening a full-cycle representative office in Dubai to promote InfoWatch solutions in the Middle East at the Gulf Information Security Expo & Conference (GISEC) 2017.
The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) was awarded the ‘Global Free Zone of the Year’ for two consecutive years by the Financial Times fDi Magazine.
