Head of Argentinian Ministry of Defense and Information Security Service of Argentinian Naval Forces, Captain Pablo Daniel Sorrentino visited Moscow to speak at BIS Summit 2015, sponsored by InfoWatch Group. Argentinian expert presented the regional information security strategy of Argentina to 800+ audience of the event, told about the stages of strategy development and implementation, its place in South America information security landscape, etc.
In his presentation Head of Argentinian Ministry of Defense emphasized that information threats lead not only to information security and reputational losses but also bring out of operation objects of critically important infrastructure, such as antimissile systems, nuclear power stations, hydro power stations, etc. Therefore the society must recognize the necessity of keeping its finger on the pulse of constantly evolving threats. To this end Captain Sorrentino supports sharing experience between countries and continents in field of protection against cyber-threats.
Besides Mr. Pablo Daniel Sorrentino met InfoWatch Group CEO and co-founder of Kaspersky Lab Mrs. Natalya Kaspersky to discuss common security issues and strategies how to improve the level of cyber security protection.
