Passport Detection

A passport is the primary document that confirms the identify of a citizen. The main page of a passport contains key information about a person's identity: first and last name, sex, date and place of birth.

The Passport Detection component of InfoWatch Traffic Monitor can detect pages of passports (ID) in the stream of intercepted files.

When the main page of a passport is recognized, a leak alert appears in the 'Reports' section of the InfoWatch Traffic Monitor console.

Advantages of the technology

The main advantage of InfoWatch's Passport Detection is that, unlike its competitors, it requires no initial set-up. This technology is ready to work 'out of the box,' i.e. immediately after system launch and without additional configuration.
