InfoWatch Gulf, a Middle East representative office of InfoWatch Group, joined Infosecurity Middle East 2018, an international information security expo held on March 6-8 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to take part in its business agenda and showcase its key enterprise cybersecurity solutions, including InfoWatch Traffic Monitor 6.9, the latest release of InfoWatch’s flagship product for data leak prevention and enterprise protection against internal cyber threats. The new release tools improve DLP system efficiency when it comes to corporate security policy creation, investigations, and cybersecurity team interaction with other enterprise departments.

“Today, cybersecurity is a pressing issue for both businesses and government agencies worldwide and in the Middle East in particular,” said Kristina Tantsyura, CEO of InfoWatch Gulf. “We see an increase in both enterprise cybersecurity demand and trust in Russian data protection technologies in the region. Our advanced solutions customized to combat information security threats currently hitting the Middle East market aroused great interest at the Infosecurity Middle East.”

InfoWatch Gulf welcomed over 150 event attendees at its booth and held meetings with Director General of Smart Services Brigadier Khalid Nasser Al Razooqi and Chief Strategy &Governance Officer Etisalat Group Khalifa Hassan Al Shamsi; as well as heads of other Middle Eastern government agencies and large companies.

As part of the event’s Tech Talks, Kristina Tantsyura spoke about cyber threats caused by both new technologies and people in today’s world where data has become ‘digital gold’. Indeed, humans cause the majority of data leaks from enterprises.
