Ajman University Students Complete Intern Training in Enterprise Cybersecurity at InfoWatch Gulf

As part of educational cooperation between InfoWatch and the Emirate of Ajman, students of Ajman University’s College of Information Technology (UAE) have completed an intern training at InfoWatch Gulf, a Middle East representative office of InfoWatch Group. The 6-week training program developed by InfoWatch Group specialists covered the study of the vendor’s business processes and the operating of its enterprise cybersecurity systems.

During the first weeks, the students took an intensive course on modern enterprise information protection technologies and then joined a project for the implementation of enterprise IT infrastructure protection solutions for up to 200 workstations.

Ajman University students were successful in tackling the challenges faced, demonstrating a high level of competence,” noted Kristina Tantsyura, CEO of InfoWatch Gulf. “We hope this new experience with InfoWatch will benefit them, and our plans are to keep fostering our relations with the university.

Notably, in 2018, InfoWatch Group, Government of the Emirate of Ajman and Ajman University signed a cooperation agreement covering certain areas, including education initiatives and plans to open an international training center for digital technology and cybersecurity in the Middle East for local government officials, business representatives, and students of IT-focused universities. InfoWatch creates its educational programs for the training center jointly with its academic partners Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech) and National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE).
