InfoWatch to Showcase Cloud DLP Solution at GITEX 2018

InfoWatch Group, a Russian vendor of end-to-end enterprise cybersecurity solutions, will take part in the GITEX Technology Week, a Gulf information technology conference, to be held in Dubai on October 14-18, 2018. As part of the exhibition, for the first time InfoWatch Group will show Middle East customers a new version of its InfoWatch Traffic Monitor solution designed to ensure enterprise information security in Microsoft Office 365 cloud.

Thanks to integration of flagship DLP product InfoWatch Traffic Monitor with Microsoft Cloud App Security, the new version can protect information flows at organizations that use Microsoft Office 365, and prevent enterprise data leaks in a cloud environment. InfoWatch Group’s booth will also feature the interface of InfoWatch Prediction, a User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) solution that automatically tackles practical tasks by predicting cybersecurity risks.

At the GITEX will be released a report on leaks of personal data, payment information and other confidential information in the Middle East by InfoWatch Analytical Center. The study includes information on the main channels of data leakage in the region, violator types and the most vulnerable industries in terms of information security.

Moreover, at the Russian Export Center’s general booth, InfoWatch representatives will tell the attendees about the international digital technology and cybersecurity training center in the Middle East, opening of which was announced at GISEC 2018. The center’s educational programs are targeted at UAE government officials and business people, covering Russia’s best practices in today’s most demanded technologies, and are created jointly with InfoWatch’s academic partners Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech), National Research Tomsk State University and National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE).

In addition, to promote Russian technologies in UAE as part of its commitment to the Russian Business Council in Dubai, InfoWatch booth will also feature solutions by its Russian partners Altarix, Nanosemantics, and Ashmanov Neural Networks.

"We see a serious potential growth in demand for Russian software products from Middle Eastern partners and customers, which, unfortunately, is constrained by the insufficient level of advertising and exhibition promotion, – said the head of InfoWatch Gulf  Kristina Tantsyura. – For that reason, this year we decided to present at the InfoWatch stand not only our own cybersecurity solutions, but also products from other Russian vendors that will be useful for solving a wider range of customer tasks. We hope that this will help to increase the awareness of Russian software among representatives of the public and commercial sector of the Middle East region and will facilitate the further development of Russian vendors in these markets."

It should be noted that in 2018, Kristina Tantsyura, CEO of InfoWatch Gulf, became a head of Innovation Technologies and IT at the Russian Business Council in Dubai, where she is in charge of engaging new technology and IT companies from Russia to join the council and strengthening relationships with industry-specific government agencies and businesses of UAE.
